These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,454 through 113 starports (23 Class A, 61 Class B, 18 Class C, 11 Class D) employing 297,470 people. Driving this interstellar trade are 20 Agricultural (Ag) worlds, 11 Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, ten Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, nine Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, nine Rich (Ri) worlds, and seven Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Reft maintain 23 Naval bases, 18 Military bases, and nine Scout bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 6 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Rampart (Reft 3030) and Stock Point 3 (Reft 2636).

The Reft sector contains 169 stars and 1,286 identified planets; 79 monostellar systems, 42 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 94 of the 123 systems (76%) have native gas giants. There are three Asteroid (As) belts, 11 Desert (De) worlds, eight Garden (Ga) worlds, six Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, 20 Poor (Po) worlds, 15 Vacuum (Va) worlds, and five Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Reft has an estimated population of 138 billion distributed across 14 High population (Hi) worlds, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 63 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 28 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds.
