History and background[edit]

Esperanza (Reft 0926) established a base in the Wellington system to find and exploit natural resources. [2]

In the Regency, Wellington is an interdicted red zone, a dead world with no refueling sources. It is kept isolated while the Regency Quarantine Service checks the system for Virus infections. [3]
