History and background[edit]

A very small band of wealthy recluses claims this world; so far no one has disturbed them. [2]

World Starport[edit]

St. Genevieve has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Population (P)[edit]

St. Genevieve has a population of 80 sophonts (tens).

  • This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without significant outside assistance. This may represent a transient population such as the crew of a starship, the final survivors of a dying colony, an advance team setting up to receive colonists, or a small outpost where establishing a colony is not the primary objective.

World Languages[edit]

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

St. Genevieve possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government (G)[edit]

St. Genevieve has no central government or substantial government apparatus; an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.

World Law (L)[edit]

St. Genevieve has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.

New Era[edit]

St. Genevieve, during the Regency, is classified as an Amber Zone and a powder-keg world, with ownership under dispute; it is claimed by New Home (Reft 1925), Neubayern (Reft 1822), Amondiage (Reft 2325), And Sansterre (Reft 2322). All four powers have both system presence and ground troops on the main world itself. Regency peacekeeping forces man a DMZ between these forces and enforce an unsteady peace. [3]
