Aslan Cultural Purge

The Aslan Cultural Purge (Trokh: "Uwaralyekose") was a period of ideological strife, heightened inter-clan violence, and near civil war in the Aslan Hierate, running roughly from -50 to 50. Many historians analyze it as the peak of a longer conflict, the Aisekhokhe entse ("Kinstrife in the stars"), between traditionalist and progressive thought in Aslan culture.
The result of the Purge was an enforced monoculture in the Hierate, with many clans considered deviant forced from Aslan space or otherwise pressured to accept status as khaleao or even Tahiwihteakhtau -- not "true" Aslan. The Purge also destroyed several unconventional clans entirely.
