This is a sparse star system with no major planetoid belts and no gas giants. Reudden Highport is thus the only ready source of fuel.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Reudden is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Reudden has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Reudden has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Reudden remains scrupulously legal in its dealings, but enforces every nuance of every regulation to its utmost extreme. Free Traders and similar independent ships are not often seen in Reudden’s port, for the simple reason that they may not be able to pass the inspections or pay for work needed to get back out of the port again.
World Starport[edit]
Reudden has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Reudden has a population of 4,000,000 sophonts (millions).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
Urbanization[edit]
Citizens dwell in modestly sized cities separated by large expanses of wilderness. Travel between communities is restricted and not common, and as an additional precaution only some settlements are eligible to provide Highport or Downport staff.

Reudden possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.

World Government (G)[edit]
Reudden is governed by a Non-charismatic Dictatorship. This is a continuation of the charismatic dictatorship, where the original leadership has died or retired and been replaced by allies or protégés. The justifications for the original change in government remain as well as the assertion of rights to rule.
World Military[edit]
Reudden's military system is based upon conscription. Internal Security Force personnel are all volunteers, but mainstream military forces are composed almost entirely of conscripts and reservists. A period of military service is mandatory for all adults.
World Law (L)[edit]
Reudden has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. Most worlds with this law level may be an Amber Zone or Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). All aspects of life rigidly controlled with disproportionate punishments for even minor legal infractions.There is no difference between the police and the military. This world is a full-fledged police state. Oppression is legalized, though not routine.
- Reudden is run by the head of the Internal Security Forces. This is a paramilitary organisation that handles law enforcement, civil defence and also some aspects of bureaucracy. Laws are incredibly strict and pervade all aspects of everyday life, but they do seem to be fairly applied.
- There are legally enforceable procedures for everything, and these are effective and comprehensive. Even an unexpected disaster will be met with a well organised, if inflexible and formulaic, response.
