Ley style="width: 250px; height: 350px; border: solid 1px black; float: right; clear: left" | |||||||||||||||||
Ley Sector is bounded to Coreward-Trailing and Rimward-Spinward by areas of rift; it lies at the very edge of the Third Imperium.
- The sector is located between two rifts, and provides a "gateway" into or out of Imperial Space (hence the Domain name), towards the Hive Federation and the Two Thousand Worlds.
- Fornast Sector (to Spinward) leads to the Imperial Core, while some trade comes in from Antares and the Empty Quarter away to Spinward-Coreward and Coreward respectively.
- Other than a few worlds in the Glimmerdrift Reaches, to Rimward, the sector has no other borders with Imperial space.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Luriani dominate the area and their rich trade contacts with the Vargr and the Julian Protectorate enrich the region. The Luriani know many regional secrets and their frequent rejection of the local Sydites may be a sign that the Sydites are also in possession of valuable "inside knowledge".
- Additionally, Gateway Sector uses this interstellar traffic corridor for most of its logistical and trade needs.
- Both Hiver and K'kree merchants also make their way through the region.

Politics & Diplomacy (Interstellar Relations)[edit]
Both the Luriani and Sydites resisted the intrusion into the area of foreign powers. The Luriani, after much loss, hitched their wagons to Imperial interests. The Sydites did not. Now, the Sydites have been reduced to a fraction of their former civilization. And yet the Sydites are both stubborn and resourceful. Their trade ships move with purpose and reason. They have some sort of a plan.
