Mmarislusant (language)

Mmarislusant is a dialect of Old High Vilani spoken by the Mmarislusant ethnic sub-group on Daramm, and elsewhere in the Luriani Cultural Association.

Description

A significant minority of the cultural Luriani population of Daramm are biological Vilani known as the "Mmarislusant" ("Victims of History") and descend from stranded Vilani colonists on Daramm. The Mmarislusant absorbed much of Luriani culture and are seen both by themselves and the natives as being genuine Luriani, but still retain a language dialect descended from their own past. This is locally called Mmarislusant, and is recognised as a descendant of Old High Vilani.
