History & Background / Dossier[edit]
During the Long Night, Alsuy was part of a small polity, the L'Polan Empire. The L'Polan were at odds with the Luriani Protectorate and there were several wars between them. The final war (-1252 to -1238) was sparked by a surprise destruction of the Protectorate's primary shipbuilding facility on Gishuumka (Ley 0311). This war was noted for its ferocity, and ended with a pyrrhic Luriani victory as the Empire collapsed. The L'Polan disintegrated into a number of tiny, exhausted successor states. A reformed L'Polan Empire fought two more inconclusive wars with the Second Luriani Protectorate before succumbing to a short Imperial campaign, five years before the Imperial-Luriani conflict.

Alsuy, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdom of a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversees affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.

Alsuy has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions.
