History & Background / Dossier[edit]

The naval base at Zuge is almost entirely dedicated to protecting Imperial interests in Outworld Subsector. It has a greater than usual complement of small patrol craft and a few destroyers. These range across Outworld or sit over worlds there as guardships. Cruisers and larger patrol vessels stage through this base as well, usually heading out into Gateway Sector.

Imperial High / Landed Nobility[edit]

Zuge, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.

World Starport[edit]

Zuge has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

Zuge possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.

World Government[edit]

Zuge is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions within the government. These positions are inherited by members of the group or by their relatives. The organization may be a monarchy, with titles passed to family members, or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Alternatively, the organization may be a more typical government apparatus, only with positions of power inherited.
