The Greater Massilia Main is a long and prosperous Main running between Zarushagar Sector and Massilia Sector.

Astrography[edit]

The Greater Massilia Main is a major trade route lying along the trailing edge of Zarushagar Sector and the spinward edge of Massilia Sector.

The Network[edit]

The Network is an informal name given to the web of mains that terminate within Zarushagar Sector and the various major Clusters that lie between them.

Being associated with The Network lends a region and the worlds it contains a certain gravitas.

Security & Defense[edit]

The worlds of the region are patrolled by the Imperial 63rd, 162nd, 281st, 259th, and 282nd Fleets in Massilia Sector and the Imperial 163rd, 164th, 239th, 240th, and 277th Fleets in Zarushagar Sector. They defend Imperial territory, suppress piracy, and ensure trade and commerce.

  • A strong sense of rivalry and competitiveness exists between the various Fleets.

Despite its name implying it predominantly lies within Massilia Sector, exactly half of the Main's worlds are in Zarushagar Sector.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
