• This world has an Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.

Epshu has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

Epshu is a member of (and the namesake of) the Epshu Cluster region of the Greater Massilia Main, a major Main and important trade route lying across parts of Massilia Sector and Zarushagar Sector.

It is the capital of the subsector and the seat of the Subsector Duke.

The world is a major manufacturing center for Zaimen, Clammath and Hollings, a corporation producing weapons systems and munitions.

World Starport (St)

Epshu has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• This world hosts a Naval Base associated with the Imperial 240th Fleet.
