- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Keum Subsector of Massilia Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- This world has an Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
- It is a member of The Great Loop region of the Greater Massilia Main.
- The population have Solomani ancestry.
- During the Long Night it lay within the Rebin Empire's sphere of influence.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Emsingale has a solitary primary star.
- It is a white main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x1 gas giant.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Emsingale is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Emsingale has a pressure of 2.5 or greater atmospheres. A Dense & High Pressure Atmosphere typically requires no survival gear under many conditions. Pressure at or below sea level is too great to support life but the atmosphere may be breathable at higher altitudes. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Emsingale has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice heavily tainted with other substances, which makes it dangerous, corrosive, or toxic. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds may be Hell Worlds.
- The water on the surface may be unsuitable for use or consumption without extensive filtering and purification.
- Refining for fuel may cause issues with shipboard purification plants.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Emsingale is a member of The Great Loop region of the Greater Massilia Main, a major Main and important trade route lying across parts of Massilia Sector and Zarushagar Sector.
The world was settled by Terran Solomani during the Rule of Man. Despite the bleak conditions the population has remained high.
The Rebin Empire[edit]
During the Long Night this world fell within the Rebin Empire's sphere of influence. It benefitted from trade agreements and defense policies imposed by the Empire, but it struggled with the Empire's unilateral decision-making, interference in its internal affairs, occasional military interventions, and most significantly its views on gender roles. The Empire gradually disintegrated in the centuries before the founding of the Third Imperium, with interstellar trade slowly dying off and some of the worlds it had overseen becoming depopulated.
- It was considered a Provincial World by the Empire and was afforded fewer rights and protections.
- The worlds that the Empire controlled or interacted with have a distinct Rebin cultural flavor to the present day.
- Despite its many shortcomings, the Rebin Empire was overall considered a force for good and most worlds are proud of their association with it.
At the dawn of the Imperium Emsingale had a corrosive atmosphere. A millennium of atmospheric terraforming has transformed it into a marginally breathable Dense, High atmosphere.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Emsingale has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- This world is host to a Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Emsingale has a population of 2,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population almost all have Solomani genetic heritage.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
Unlike other worlds that fell within the Rebin Empire's sphere of influence, the population of Emsingale have never gained the distinctive Rebin accent.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Emsingale possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
World Government (G)[edit]
Emsingale is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
World Law (L)[edit]
Emsingale has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]
Emsingale, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdom of a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversees affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight, the Imperial representative to the world.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial count.
