Subsector D of Spinward Marches Sector.
The Aramis Subsector lies coreward of the major Imperial trade routes, studded with few worlds of use to the mainstream of trade and commerce; the major X-Boat links also pass this subsector by.
The subsector is a major agricultural producer. The major market for this production, however, is outside the Imperium. Vargr nations to coreward look upon the variety and quality of foodstuffs produced locally as highly desirable luxury goods. To this end, the Imperial Scout Service maintains several isolated bases for contact with Vargr trading missions.

Politics and Diplomacy : Milieu 1116[edit]
The Aramis Subsector is defended by 214th Fleet. The fleet's squadrons are based in Aramis, Paya, Natoko, and L'Ouel d'Dieu. The coreward half of the subsector is patrolled by smaller ships suitable for deterring Vargr corsairs.
Imperial Politics[edit]
Aramis Subsector is not a duchy itself but is split between three neighboring duchies.
The Towers Cluster is administered by the Duchess of Pretoria, the Aramis Trace by the Duke of Rhylanor, and the Scatters by the Duke of Regina.
The Marquis of Aramis is married to a member of the Tukera family, of Tukera Lines fame.
Native Sophonts[edit]
The following races (sophont species) are believed to have originated in this area:
- Non-Human Races
- Ebokin of Yebab
- Llellewyloly of Junidy
Demographics[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this subsector:
- Humaniti (Human races)
World Listing[edit]
Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Aramis Subsector is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.

Subsector Summary[edit]
Aramis, subsector D of Spinward Marches, contains 26 worlds with an estimated combined population of 32 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,480, and a total economy of BCr114,097. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr125 through 22 starports (2 Class A, 8 Class B, 10 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 20,305 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Aramis maintain four Naval bases, three Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Feneteman (Spinward Marches 3104).
Aramis, subsector D of Spinward Marches, contains 35 stars and 287 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, nine binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 19 of the 26 systems (73%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, one Vacuum (Va) world, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Aramis has an estimated population of 32 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Junidy (Spinward Marches 3202). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including two native sophonts.

Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb[edit]
The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 32 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,480, and a total economy of BCr114,097. The governments in the Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb maintain four Naval bases, three Scout bases, and one Way station within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Feneteman (Spinward Marches 3104).
The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb has an estimated population of 32 billion within the subsector, distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 16 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Junidy (Spinward Marches 3202). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including two native sophonts.
- The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb subsector capital of Aramis is Aramis (Spinward Marches 3110).
