History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Die-back worlds are favorite locations for xeno-archaeologists, adventurers, and treasure seekers among others. A wealth of valuable artifacts can be found by those who skirt those Imperial laws that assert ownership of such objects to the Third Imperium or subject states.
Because items degrade over time, die back worlds have lower tech levels reflecting the general quality and condition of the salvage and artifacts that may be found. Items of the listed Tech Level or lower may be recovered.
- Some items, if of a sufficiently high Tech Level, may still be functional or active.
- Other groups or interests may have a claim on this material.
