History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Early History[edit]

Hammand was briefly controlled from Fel (Deneb 2904) around 210, but this claim of control was relinquished by the end of the Vargr Campaigns. Hammand was firmly in the Imperium by 400 when the Million Subsector was first incorporated.

Abandonment[edit]

The planet was formally abandoned in 1135 when it was evacuated by the Imperial Navy's 61st Fleet.

Non-Canon: Refugees from the Dzarrgh Federate were in possession of the ruins by 1138. This settlement was destroyed shortly thereafter by a combination of Red Pelt raids, Virus attack and evacuation of the last survivors to Gabrael (Deneb 2807) by one of the few remaining interstellar freighters.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]

Hammand, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.

Non-Canon: Sir Cameron-Kuzanlu, K.S.C was evacuated to Atsah in 1135.
