Mainworld Data[edit]

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Augurgh is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away. Augurgh rotates once every 60 days.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Augurgh has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Augurgh has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

Mainworld Geography & Topography[edit]

See map (below).
Note that the city shown accounted for 89% of the population.

World Starport[edit]

Summary[edit]

1105[edit]

Augurgh has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

1200[edit]

non-canon
Augurgh does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing. Starport attacked by Virus in 1143 and the remains destroyed in a strike by 61st Fleet in 1162.

World Technology Level[edit]

1105[edit]

Augurgh possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.

1200[edit]

non-canon
Augurgh possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Summary[edit]

The balkanisation remained constant between 1105 and 1200, the specific governments changed sizes and constitutions.

1105[edit]

Augurgh is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

1200[edit]

non-canon
Augurgh has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.

World Law Level[edit]

Summary[edit]

1105[edit]

Augurgh has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

1200[edit]

non-canon
Augurgh has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.

World Military[edit]

None Note that the United Followers of Augurgh's navy was based here and there was a permanent UFA garrison at the starport.

  • Most examples of this type are capable of resource extraction but lack an industrial base, in particular factories, to make use of the resources.

Approx 40,000,000

1200: Augurgh has no population (...zero sophonts). It is devoid of a known sophont population.
