Astrographic Features[edit]

The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.

  • It is an average stellar density region.
  • The brightest star is the orange giant primary of the Riou system.

A number of important trade routes lie within the region. High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels moving along them, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between their member worlds.

The Mains and Clusters that lie within the sector are referred to as The Network.

Vilani Run[edit]

The Vilani Run includes the majority of the worlds within the subsector. Thousands of years ago, it was a route Vilani pioneers and traders used to spread to rimward.

These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr15,950 through 32 starports (6 Class A, 19 Class B, 4 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 2,743,285 people. Driving this interstellar trade are ten Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Triton maintain nine Naval bases and three Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Sternbach (Zarushagar 1410).

Triton, subsector B of Zarushagar, contains 44 stars and 339 identified planets; 22 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 33 systems (69%) have native gas giants.
