Lode Subsector is subsector D of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is an Imperial core region that has been settled for millennia.
Description (Specifications)
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Lode Subsector:
Astrographic Features
The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.
- It is an average stellar density region.
- The marginally brightest star is the white main sequence primary of the Sixty-One system.
Stellar Distribution
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Lode Subsector.
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map)
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
Economic Astrography
Corporations
Corporations and organizations active within the subsector include:
- Akagi Transport, a major transport and logistics corporation.
- Ling Standard Products, an Imperial megacorporation engaged in widescale resource extraction and processing.
- Naasirka, an Imperial megacorporation with long historical ties to the region and substantial interests within the region.
- Sharurshid, an Imperial megacorporation specializing in finance and commerce with multiple interests across the region.
- Tukera Lines, an Imperial megacorporation specializing in transport and logistics.
Trade Routes
A number of important trade routes lie within the region. High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels moving along them, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between their member worlds.
The Mains and Clusters that lie within the subsector are referred to as The Network.
Greater Massilia Main

- Worlds lying on the Main are highlighted in green.
Sylean Main

- Worlds lying on the Main are highlighted in green.
Dagudashaag Main
- Silk Road region of the Dagudashaag Main.

- Worlds within the Cluster are highlighted in tan.
World Listing
Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Triton Subsector is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
History & Background (Dossier)
Lode Subsector takes its name from the capital located in the asteroid belt at Lode (Zarushagar 2908). As might be guessed, the subsector is well known for Belt Mining and Belters.
The Lode Subsector is defended by 163rd Fleet.
Polity Listing
The following polities can be found within this subsector:
- Third Imperium (Imperial powers)
- Domain of Sylea
Various member systems and worlds.
- Domain of Sylea
Native Sophonts (NILs)
The following races (sophont species) are believed to have originated in this area:
- Humaniti (Human races)
Demographics
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this subsector:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Bo'daan of St. George (Human Chimera)
- Mixed heritage (Major Race): widely spread across the main.
- Solomani (Major Race): many genetically distinct individuals and communities.

Subsector Summary
Lode, subsector D of Zarushagar, contains 37 worlds with an estimated combined population of 18 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,502, and a total economy of BCr83,846. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,010 through 35 starports (5 Class A, 27 Class B, 2 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 288,175 people. Driving this interstellar trade are 11 Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, eight Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Lode maintain 14 Naval bases and four Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Mystic (Zarushagar 2501).
Lode, subsector D of Zarushagar, contains 55 stars and 394 identified planets; 23 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, four trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 32 of the 37 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, five Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, seven Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Lode has an estimated population of 18 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 15 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Kurae (Zarushagar 2806), Lode (Zarushagar 2908), and Urak (Zarushagar 3101). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
