Silk Road
The Silk Road is a branch of the Dagudashaag Main lying within the rimward part of Dagudashaag Sector and the coreward edge of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is an astrographic feature and part of a major trade route.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Silk Road, a title heavy with notions of ancient Terran desert traders laden with exotic wares, is the name given to a trail of seven systems stretching from Shaida, in rimward Dagudashaag Sector, to Mystic, on the very coreward edge of Zarushagar Sector. It includes Silk, the namesake world of the region.
- The Road has 7 member systems.
- It is also known as the Mystic Path.

The Road is considered to be part of The Network, the web of mains that terminate within Zarushagar Sector]].

The worlds of the region are patrolled by the Imperial 218th Fleet in Dagudashaag Sector and the Imperial 163rd Fleet in Zarushagar Sector. They defend Imperial territory, suppress piracy, and ensure trade and commerce.
- There is rivalry between the two Fleets.

- Tao'l-silk, a fine fabric, originating on the world of Silk, woven by large genetically engineered creatures known as Tao'l Spiders.

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Road, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
