Description / Specifications[edit]

Development of this subsector is haphazard. There are a great many worlds with only E-class starports and a full six systems carrying Red Zone classification.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Zarn, subsector H of Canopus contains 28 worlds with an estimated population of 8 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,087, and a total economy is BCr48,715. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr425 through 12 starports (2 Class A, 5 Class B, 3 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 67,210 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Zarn maintain three Naval bases, and one Military base. The average technology level is 6 (with most between 2 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Aedes (Canopus 3111).

Zarn, subsector H of Canopus contains 39 stars and 313 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 28 systems (92%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, five Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, seven Poor (Po) worlds, ten Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Zarn has an estimated population of 8 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, ten Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and five Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Cassio (Canopus 3020) and Coraxon 4 (Canopus 2617). The population consists of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Solomani Confederation[edit]

The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 21 worlds with an estimated population of 5 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,202, and a total economy is BCr41,022. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr424 through 8 starports (1 Class A, 5 Class B, 1 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 67,130 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Solomani Confederation maintain one Naval base, and one Military base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 10). The highest technology level is 13 at Keel (Canopus 2817) and Cassio (Canopus 3020).

The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 5 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, seven Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and three Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Cassio (Canopus 3020). The population consists of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are five Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Zarn with an estimated population of 3 billion.

Non-Aligned, unclaimed[edit]

There are two Non-Aligned unclaimed worlds in Zarn with an estimated population of less than 1 million.
