Tsadra Sector is a far trailing sector noted for the nearby Zhodani Consulate. It functions as a Zhodani frontier.

  • Only the Coreward-trailing part of this sector is Zhodani controlled.

Meta-History & Background[edit]

Tsadra Sector is an old sector with very few published products detailing it at any length.

  • Dale Jenkins was one of the original creators of the sector and crated much of the base data.
    • There is little set canon information about this sector. Most of the Classic Traveller and MegaTraveller products simply mention it in passing without significant detail.

  • As of Spring 2017, this sector is being programmed into the Traveller RPG Wiki and content is being developed for it.
  • It has NOT yet been T5 Second Survey reviewed NOR updated to T5 standards.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Zhodani have treated this area with something close to dismissal. The Consulate is invested in its coreward regions due to trade with Vargr and Drakarans, plus the famous and periodic Core Expeditions; and in its trailing regions due to Vargr trade and the threat of rival power the Third Imperium. The maze of squabbling states on the rimward frontier also requires their frequent attention. By contrast, the spinward border of the Consulate is quiet. The two Zhodani-influenced star nations present here are perfunctorily referred to as "Eiaplial Davr" -- "spinward Eiaplial" (literally, "new Eiaplial") -- and "Tsadra Nadir" -- "below in Tsadra". The sector immediately to spinward of Tsadra is even labelled, simply, Tsadra Davr Sector. The Solomani-influenced Fjords and a small part of the Talpaku Communality round out the recognised interstellar powers.
