The Sidiadl Sector is included in the Province of Meqlemianz, along with the Zhodani territory of Tsadra and Eiaplial sectors.

  • This spinward edge of the Consulate is relatively well developed, with a high level of industrialization and colonization.
  • Relatively few native intelligent cultures arose in this region, and so the frontier is both peaceful and easily absorbed.

  • Bonzhtlensh Chezzhdiakl: A corporation specializing in heavy industry. They are particularly noted for the manufacture of power plants, infrastructure elements, and major starship components such as jump drives. The company has an ongoing commercial rivalry with the industrial giant Tliazhashal.

Mains, Branches & Arms[edit]

Sidiadl Sector Importance
Sidiadl Sector Clusters

High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the inhabited clusters and traces of the sector, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between their member worlds. Jump-2 and Jump-3 feeder routes work their ways around the rifts and voids that dot the region, linking the various clusters and traces.

Importance[edit]

A chart is provided showing importance as green circles centered on a world, with larger circles indicating greater importance and overlapping circles giving an overview of a region's economic significance. While importance is largely a measure of raw economic power, other influencing factors include starport quality, political significance, a high planetary habitability rating, or even the local culture.

Importance can also serve as a visual reference broadly indicating heavily settled areas, lightly settled regions, and mostly uninhabited wilderness.

Mains[edit]

Main is an astrographic term for groups of 50 or more systems that are accessible by jump-1-capable starships.

Mains are highlighted in green: no mains lie within the sector.

Clusters[edit]

Cluster is a broad astrographic term for groups of between 10 and 50 systems that are accessible by jump-1-capable starships.

Clusters are highlighted in tan: nine clusters lie wholly or partially within the sector.

Traces[edit]

Trace is an astrographic term for groups of between 5 and 10 systems that are accessible by jump-1-capable starships.

Traces are highlighted in brown: 20 trace-sized clusters of worlds lie wholly or partially within the sector.

Jump Bridges[edit]

Jump Bridges are locations within empty hexes that contain caches of fuel and supplies. They allow lower jump rating vessels to bridge gaps between distant worlds by providing a halfway point. The hexes these caches lie within are truly vast, and without exact coordinates to jump to within it a vessel could end up with empty tanks in empty wilderness, perhaps as much as a light-year away from any hope of rescue. Where they do exist, Jump Bridges are heavily guarded and access is not generally granted to those without the correct credentials.

  • No commercial jump bridges currently exist within the sector.
  • It has long been rumored that the Consulate maintains covert jump bridge facilities, but no reliable proof of this has ever been provided.
