• The world experiences libration - a regular wobble - as it orbits, causing the star to move in the sky.

It orbits within the prime region of the primary star's habitable zone.

• It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.

Mainworld Size (S)

Krami is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Krami has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. This atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds, which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

• It experiences generally moderate temperatures within the twilight zone.

The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.

• Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
• Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
• The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
• The world has a low oxygen taint: the percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.

Over millions of years, stellar flares thrown off by the primary star have stripped away most of the world's atmosphere.

Krami has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Krami is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Some of the planets and moons within the system may have never had an intelligent being visit them.

The system's primary star experiences regular bouts of flare activity, which causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.

• During major outbursts of flare activity radiation levels within the system are dangerously high.
• Exposure to elevated radiation levels causes serious health issues and may damage unshielded electronic devices.
