- The subsector is a relatively low stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the blue-white bright giant primary of the Iaieqr-47 system.

Rerkleblmie Subsector lies beyond the coreward border of the Zhodani Consulate, in a broad area that has seen little attention from that polity despite its close proximity.
The subsector is thought to be uninhabited -- at least officially.

- -5823: the Zhodani Consulate is established.
- -5415: the Zhodani discover jump drive technology.
- -4006 to present: the Zhodani undertake the Core Expeditions.
- The Year 0: far to trailing, the Third Imperium is founded.
- 300-420: the Imperial First Survey charts the region.
- 589-present: the Zhodani and the Imperium fight a sporadic series of Frontier Wars. Most of the action occurs in Tloql Sector, to trailing.
- 995-1065: the Imperial Second Survey charts the region.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
