Chtiepriets is a high-population, non-agricultural and industrial vacuum world, with a billion or more sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It is a client state of the Zhodani Consulate in the Elra Subsector of Sidiadl Sector.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It controls Jdeflie, Jdiantsfriepl, and Ilvlat-25 on behalf of the Zhodani Consulate.
- It directly administers Donjbie' and Qrvrniqrchtr, both in Zrblzhienshf Subsector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Chtiepriets has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It is a moon of a gas giant.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- A temperate garden world orbits in the habitable zone. It is the site of an agricultural colony.
- x1 planetoid belt.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Chtiepriets is a major moon of a large gas giant.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary world orbit within the outer system.
- They receive very low levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Chtiepriets is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the gas giant primary world cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Chtiepriets has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- Vacuum worlds have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Chtiepriets has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Chtiepriets is an industrial world and commercial center, exploiting the extremely rich natural resources found on the world and turning out all kinds of manufactured goods.
The world directly administers the fishing settlements on Donjbie' and the outpost on Qrvrniqrchtr, both in Zrblzhienshf Subsector.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Chtiepriets has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- This world is host to an independent Naval Base.
- It is also host to a major Military Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Chtiepriets has a population of 3,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population entirely consists of humans of Zhodani descent.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Zdetl, the language of the Zhodani Consulate.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Chtiepriets possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government (G)[edit]
Chtiepriets is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.
World Law (L)[edit]
Chtiepriets has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A world with this law level may be an Amber Zone or a Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked. There is no legal concept of privacy (save for those who can claim necessity for official government business). The police are free to inspect anyone and anything at any time.
