Description[edit]
The Republic of Regina Marines are part of the Naval arm of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Regina. They provide the Security, Boarding and Ground Combat element of the Republic of Regina Navy
History[edit]
The Republic of Regina Marines were established in 1648 by the Constitution of 1648. It traces its spirit back to the Imperial Marines. Whether it actually has a continuous lineage is a subject for academic debate.

The Republic of Regina Marines are commanded by the Marshal-Commandant of the Corps. This office is held over from the Imperium.

Each Republic of Regina Navy Fleet has a Division of Marines attached. These are Administrative Divisions, not combat formations. Each division will include elements from all the branches.

Regiments[edit]
The primary organisational unit of the Republic of Regina Marines is the Regiment. These are operationally deployed (with reinforcements) as Brigades, as Regiments, or as either Battalions or Detachments.
Marine Life[edit]
Recruitment[edit]
While occasionally accepting draftees, the Republic of Regina Marines usually recruits volunteers. The H’Kua Clan of Belizo are famous for the quality and quantity of their volunteers.
Terms of Enlistment[edit]
A standard term of enlistment is 4 years.
Commissions[edit]
Officers in the RORMC are appointed via the granting of a commission. A list of commissioned Marine officers (The Navy List) is published annually date of commission.

Pensions[4][edit]
The Republic of Regina Navy pays pensions of Cr2000 to Cr3000 per annum per term of service to ex-marine personnel who have served 4 terms or more.
It also pays a pension of Cr 100 per term served in the Marine Reserve
Reserve Commitments[edit]
Having completed service in the Republic of Regina Marines, NOTC graduates are required to enter the Republic of Regina Marine Reserve.[5]
