Inthe is an agricultural world with the potential to become an industrial power.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import many manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Regina Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector in the Domain of Deneb.
- This world contains an archaeological site with suspected high-tech remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.
- Inthe is a member of the Spinward Main.
- A national government on this world controls Treece.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Inthe has a solitary primary star.
- It is a white main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belt.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
This agricultural world sits at the nexus of four subsectors and is suitably equipped with a large starport with both naval and scout bases. In 1075 the survivors of the Paya disaster arrived. Most kept going, but over 20,000 settled here. Because of this, most Inthans have significant Payan ancestry.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Inthe is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Inthe has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Inthe has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
There is a strange collection of artifacts (in the form of a vast complex of mounds surrounding a huge crater), constructed by an unidentified civilization on this world.
The Imperial University of Regina has a long established campus on Inthe.
Oberlindes Lines and Tukera Lines, attracted by the X-boat terminus at nearby Dhian, are competing for shipping and passenger services to this world.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Inthe has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to a Scout Base.
- The world is host to a Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Inthe has a population of 40,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
Urbanization[edit]
In addition to Inthe Startown, other major settlements on the world include Udur, Iracke, and Kuurim.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Inthe possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Inthe has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
The largest nation on the world directly controls Treece, a relatively high population world in Lanth Subsector.
World Military[edit]

World Law (L)[edit]
Inthe has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Inthe, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdoms of two members of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight, the Imperial representative to the world.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial baron.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial marquis.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 3 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: E (extremely abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: C (very extensive)
- Efficiency: +2 (good)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 6 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: A (very friendly)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat abstract)
