Core Sector was designed by Marc W. Miller and appears in the Classic Traveller Atlas of the Imperium (GDW, 1984).

Core Sector is a very important sector within the Third Imperium and is an economic powerhouse, a home for many of the most influential member of the Imperial Nobility, a centralized base for the Imperial Bureaucracy, and the official home of the Emperor.
