Fornast Sector is an old core sector of the Imperium, originally colonized by the Vilani during the time of the Ziru Sirka.
Description[edit]
Although Fornast is an important location, sophontologists have not discovered large, vibrant socio-polities. There are three primary theories regarding this apparent cultural anomaly:
- The Ziru Sirka destroyed the region's interstellar cultures and suppressed the information.
- The Sylean Federation destroyed the region's cultures and suppressed the information.
- The region's cultures went underground and have formed very subtle crypto-cultures.
Whatever the status of interstellar culture in the region, interstellar trade is booming and is expected to grow exponentially in the coming decades as trailing space is developed.

Linguistic Topography: 1105[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Languages of Humaniti:
- Core Anglic: Principal dialect of one of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Sylean: The traditional language of the Sylean Worlds, a common secondary language in the core regions of the Third Imperium.
- Aaca: Short-form for Aaeebuany't' limmisdasca; the primary language of the Luriani.
- Languages of Minor non-Human Races:
- Denaari: The primary language of the Denaar race.
- Trailing Ursotic: Dialect of Ursotic spoken by the Ursa of Fornast and Ley Sectors.
- Wawa-pakekeke-wawa: The common, precise and bureaucratic language of the Bwaps. Spoken on Bwap-dominated planets and by government functionaries on any world lucky enough to retain a dedicated Bwap workforce.
History[edit]
Fornast Sector was first explored and developed millennia ago. The Vilani knew it well. But for some reason, civilizational development has never met its full potential. An Imperial Commission is exploring why this never occurred.
Native Sophonts: 1105[edit]
The following races (sophont species) are believed to have originated within this area:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Bye-Ren (a Variant Human Race, albeit created through forced adaptation not purposeful engineering)
- Iper'Mar (technically a cultural bloc, not a race)
Demographics: 1105[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this sector:
- Humaniti (Human races)

- » Vilani (Major Race)
Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this sector:
- (-4014 to -2423): Pax Vilanica
- (-2404 to -2215): Interstellar Wars
- (-2204): Rule of Man Founded

- (76 to 120): Pacification Campaigns
Politics & Diplomacy (Interstellar Relations)[edit]
Except for the Syleans and Luriani, the area is curiously devoid of significant polities. This baffles cultural sophontologists and doesn't match up with trend analysis or predictive heuristics. Fornast has no native surviving Minor Human Races and relatively few cultural regions.
Polity Listing: 1105[edit]
