Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Xrex, subsector O of Numbis Sector, contains 41 worlds with an estimated combined population of 34 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,994, and a total economy of BCr205,991. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,079 through 30 starports (6 Class A, 10 Class B, 11 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 800,620 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, five Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, six Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Xrex maintain five Military bases, three Hiver Embassies, two Naval outposts, and one Naval base. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Atanerpinti (Numbis 1733), Gasony (Numbis 1734), and Behzul (Numbis 2337).
Xrex, subsector O of Numbis Sector, contains 59 stars and no identified planets; 25 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, no trinary systems, and one system with four or more stars. 29 of the 41 systems (70%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and four Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Xrex has an estimated population of 34 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 18 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Atanerpinti (Numbis 1733). The population consists primarily of 10 sophont groups including seven native sophonts.

The Hive Federation has jurisdiction over 33 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 34 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,000, and a total economy of BCr205,924. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2,064 through 25 starports (6 Class A, 10 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 796,070 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Hive Federation maintain five Military bases, three Hiver Embassies, and one Naval base within the subsector. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest population world is Atanerpinti (Numbis 1733). The population consists primarily of 9 sophont groups including seven native sophonts.
- The Hive Federation subsector capital of Xrex is Bimihm (Numbis 1939).
Non-Aligned[edit]
There are six Non-Aligned worlds in Xrex with an estimated combined population of 40 million.
The Two Thousand Worlds[edit]
The Two Thousand Worlds has jurisdiction over two worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 6 million, a per capita income of Cr1,666, and a total economy of BCr10. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr15 through 2 starports (0 Class A, 0 Class B, 1 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 4,550 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- !kee: The common language used by K'kree throughout the Two Thousand Worlds.
- Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium and common to many human worlds; in this region, mostly variant dialects.
- Gurvin: The common language of the Hive Federation and a secondary language in many of its client states.

- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium and common to many human worlds; in this region, mostly variant dialects.
- The nomadic Lishun Suugugki culture speaks a form of Vilani.
- Wileg-thass, a common trade language of the Weregre. It borrows elements from Solomani and Vilani dialects.
Major Historical Events Timeline: 1116[edit]
These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this area:
- -4678: Hivers invent the jump drive, thus becoming a Major Race.
- -4100: Hiver explorers discover Loza'tch and the Za'tachk civilization.
- -4050: An exploratory Hiver vessel arrives in the Ofilaq system and discovers the Gurvin.
- -3986: The Hivers are shocked to encounter the Ithklur, a race far more violent than any encountered previously.
- Circa -3800: Hiver scouts discover Krota. To manipulate the Krotan shoals into a more teachable species, the Hivers bombard Krota with planetoids, setting off severe tectonic and climatic shifts that force widespread change and adaptation upon the Krotan people.
- -3548: Eager to present a united front to acquire jump-2 drive from the Hivers, the Gurvin form the Gurvin Interstellar Democratic Republic and make an official request to join the nascent Hive Federation and be provided with jump-2. The Hivers declare the Gurvin an "adult" species and agree.
- Circa -2900: After a millennium of Manipulation, the Ithklur take their place as an important member of the Hiver interstellar community.
- Circa -2200: The Krotan reach TL-7, launching interplanetary flights. The Hivers make their first direct contact with Krota.
- -2029 to -2013: The Hiver-K'kree War threatens the Hiver community.
- -2023 to -2018: As a consequence of organizing defence during the war, the modern Hive Federation is codified.
- Technological aid to nations like the Krotan Primacy and the Sha Elden Lith Kindriu results in a "hardening" of the K'kree-Hiver border.
- The K'kree surrender and withdrawal is claimed to be the result of Hiver psychohistorical manipulation. Ithklur history, in the form of the Dikrah Kiradgi, records a different version of events.
- -1800: The Hivers discover a Human population on Weregre, consisting of Vilani cultural dissidents.
- The Year 0: Far to spinward, the Third Imperium is founded.
- 410: To aid in administration of the Young Worlds, the Hive Federation capital is moved to Glea.
- 995 to 1065: The Imperial Second Survey.
