Raxkiir
Raxkiir is a pidgin language derived from !Kee. It is primarily used by the client races of the K'kree, throughout the Two Thousand Worlds and surrounding regions.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
A pidgin broadly derived from !Kee (the K'kree common language), some form of Raxkiir can be spoken by a great number of species. Raxkiir is not considered by the K'kree to be a dialect of !Kee, though external linguists do consider it a related language.
The name of this language translates colloquially as "The Commands to Obey".
Structure[edit]
Raxkiir uses a simplified form of the grammatical structure used by !Kee.
Lexicography[edit]
History & Background (Historical Linguistics)[edit]
Raxkiir was developed by the K'kree with assistance from their first accepted client race, the Girug'kagh, to allow the Girug'kagh and other clients to communicate without mastering K'kree spoken language -- a difficult task while lacking the vocal apparatus (and additional biological features) that K'kree use to communicate amongst themselves.
Worlds & Sectors (Astrography)[edit]
This language is primarily in use in the following areas:
Charted Space
- Two Thousand Worlds
- K'Kree Client States; notably the Wall States:
- Vargr Enclaves
