A regional and administrative subdivision of the Hive Federation; a Hiver frontier region covering several sectors.

Description / Specifications[edit]

The Hive Young Worlds region currently encompasses parts of Spica and Phlask sectors, as well as coreward Langere, Drakken, Lorspane and Porlock sectors. As the worlds closer to the centre of the Hive Federation matured they ceased to be considered 'young' and thus this unofficial region of Hiver space has been moving slowly rimward since the early 400s, around the time the capital of the Federation was moved to Glea.

The Young Worlds region is a mix of developed and backwater systems. Most of the time the pace of development and expansion is rather sedate, as the Hive Federation takes a long view towards these things.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]

A number of Fiyuh races are found in this region, being incorporated into the wider Federation.
