High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

The main consists of sixty‐six systems located primarily in Old Expanses' Delta Quadrant with a large knot of systems in the namesake subsector, including the subsector capital of Peart (Olde 1834). It meanders to trailing along the spinward portion of Alpha Crucis, ultimately trailing into Spica.

The So Skire Main straddles the Third Imperium and the Solomani Confederation.
