Liasdi Subsector is subsector J of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is an Imperial core region that has been settled for millennia.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Liasdi Subsector:
Astrographic Features[edit]
The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.
- It is an average stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the red giant primary of the Bugei system.
Stellar Distribution[edit]
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Liasdi Subsector.
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map)
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
The origin point for the Darmine, a notable demographic of the Zarushagar Sector. Darmine Humans indeed represented the largest population within Liasdi. Although less overtly restless than the Geonee or the Suerrat, the Darmine also tend to resent their inferior status within the Imperium, and at times have resisted Imperial rule by various means.
Several non-Human races are also found here, almost entirely confined to their homeworlds.
The Liasdi Subsector is defended by 278th Fleet.

Subsector Summary[edit]
Liasdi, subsector J of Zarushagar, contains 37 worlds with an estimated combined population of 11 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,170, and a total economy of BCr59,828. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr6,104 through 33 starports (8 Class A, 19 Class B, 4 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 1,059,980 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, five Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Liasdi maintain ten Naval bases and five Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Siiskig (Zarushagar 1223).
Liasdi, subsector J of Zarushagar, contains 45 stars and 371 identified planets; 29 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 32 of the 37 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, four Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, nine Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Liasdi has an estimated population of 11 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 22 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Ishag (Zarushagar 1323) and Liasdi (Zarushagar 0928). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including three native sophonts.
