The Chinmaya of Glomar (Zarushagar 0924) are a Minor Non-Human Race with a humanoid appearance and are technologically sophisticated sophonts. They are also known as Chin.

Physiology

The Chinmaya are broadly humanoid sophonts with generally mammalianoid characteristics, descended from carnivore/chaser stock. They average around 2.0 meters in height and weigh around 70 kg. Their skin color is grey-black and their eyes are invariably deep blue. There are two genders.

History & Background (Dossier)

Until the Rebellion, Imperial troops were stationed on Glomar in order to protect the colonists from random acts of violence. The troops were removed in 1118 by Dulinor and protection of the population fell to the civilian militia. The militia has since had their hands full dealing with the militant Chin.

Society & Culture

Chinmaya are a social people who divide themselves into extended family groups. They are also well known for their violent behavior toward human colonists who have infringed on their territory (ie. the planet).

True to their origins, the Chin are highly territorial.
