Case Study: Yiirabarhi & the Shriekers[edit]
The Shriekers are amongst the youngest of the species known to the Third Imperium despite an ancient lineage. A misunderstanding led them to initially be identified as game animals, but Imperial explorers rectified the situation, made first contact with the sophont species and began the process of studying Yiirabarhi. The language is still poorly understood.
