Wolf Subsector is subsector K of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is an Imperial core region that has been settled for millennia.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Wolf Subsector:
Astrographic Features[edit]
The subsector is a generally unremarkable area lying within the Imperial Core.
- It is an average stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the blue-white main sequence primary of the Farock system.
Stellar Distribution[edit]
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Wolf Subsector, right:
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
The Wolf Subsector is defended by 62nd Fleet.

World Listing: 1105[edit]
The following systems and worlds can be found within this area:
Before the First Imperium, Wolf Subsector grew prosperous thanks to traders using Vilani-derived jump drives. The Darmine and the Dishaan were both active here, until both pocket empires were forcefully incorporated into the Ziru Sirka early in the Consolidation Wars.
The area saw renewed prosperity during the Rule of Man, when minor races were granted more freedoms after supporting Terran conquests. Among them were the Darmine, along with the Geonee of Massilia Sector, both of whom travelled widely during this time. A cluster of systems in the spinward-coreward corner of the subsector carry Geonee names, though the modern populations are Vilani-Solomani.
The Darmine retain a large population here, and the Adni System is noted for over a billion Bwaps, to the envy of the administrations in other Zarushagar subsectors.
Non-canon Worlds:

Subsector Summary[edit]
Wolf, subsector K of Zarushagar, contains 31 worlds with an estimated combined population of 17 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,074, and a total economy of BCr143,027. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr6,972 through 28 starports (3 Class A, 18 Class B, 3 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 1,125,330 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Wolf maintain five Naval bases and four Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Lianma (Zarushagar 1727).
Wolf, subsector K of Zarushagar, contains 48 stars and 315 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, 13 binary systems, two trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 29 of the 31 systems (93%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, four Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, eight Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Wolf has an estimated population of 17 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 18 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Adni (Zarushagar 2330). The population consists primarily of 5 sophont groups including two native sophonts.
