Allegro Subsector is subsector N of Zarushagar Sector.
- It is a frontier region lying within the Great Rift.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Allegro Subsector:
Astrographic Features[edit]
The subsector is a frontier, lying entirely within the Great Rift.
- It is a very low stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the white main sequence primary of the Star's End system.
Stellar Distribution[edit]
A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Allegro Subsector.
- The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
- The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map)
Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.
- Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
- Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.
Rifts and Voids[edit]
The subsector lies within the Great Rift.
- The rift hinders travel and commerce within the region.
- It has placed a boundary on Imperial settlement and expansion within the area.
A simple map showing the general extent of the Great Rift.
(Chart sourced from Traveller Map.)
The nature and limits of the rift may be determined by different criteria in different regions.
Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]
The following astrographic features, trade routes, mains, clusters, and traces can be found within this area:
World Listing[edit]
Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Allegro Subsector is available.
- The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
- Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
- Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:
Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
The Allegro Subsector is defended by 175th Fleet.

Subsector Summary[edit]
Allegro, subsector N of Zarushagar, contains eight worlds with an estimated combined population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,113, and a total economy of BCr8,230. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr40 through 8 starports (3 Class A, 5 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 6,290 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Allegro maintain one Naval base. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 9 and 12). The highest technology level is 13 at Union (Zarushagar 0934).
Allegro, subsector N of Zarushagar, contains nine stars and 89 identified planets; seven monostellar systems, one binary system, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 6 of the eight systems (75%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, no Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Allegro has an estimated population of 1 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Allegro (Zarushagar 1140) and Vail (Zarushagar 0937). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.
