This sparse subsector is at the edge of the Helix Rift. It forms the rimward frontier of the Zhodani Consulate Colonnade Province.
Less than 1.4 billion sophonts live on its worlds, 1.1 billion residing in the three Zhodani systems of Yavakrbi (700 million), Sibolle (400 million unabsorbed non-Zhodani Humans), and Drieglechzhen (50,000).
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Yavakrbi, subsector I of Vanguard Reaches, contains 9 worlds with an estimated combined population of 1.3 billion. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Yavakrbi maintain one combined Naval base and Military base. The highest technology level is 12 at Yavakrbi (Vanguard Reaches 0521).
Yavakrbi, subsector I of Vanguard Reaches, contains 13 stars; five monostellar systems, four binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 8 of the 9 systems have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, one Desert (De) world, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, no Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Yavakrbi has an estimated population of 1.3 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, two Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Yavakrbi (Vanguard Reaches 0521). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups, including two native sophonts.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Contacts have been made at the spinward edge of this region with the Bolth, a non-hominoid serpentine race inhabiting the Zachrisson Subsector and thought to have originated in another galaxy. [1]
The leaders of Hoganas in neighbouring Four Corners Subsector built highports in Yavakrbi at Syndet Landing, Rumio, and Andress Balfor. Shrines to the Golden Sovereign of Hoganas and an enthusiastic embassy are still present at the first two ports, but Andress Balfor dismantled the shrine and expelled the embassy when it nationalised its port in 1094.
