Subsector J of the Vanguard Reaches Sector.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Four Corners strikes many as an odd name for this subsector, which has only 10 systems, nine of them located across the centre region. It is, however, one of four central subsectors in the Vanguard Reaches.
This subsector was mostly bypassed during settlement, with ambitious settlers pushing on to better worlds in Yavakrbi Subsector. It has only 53 million inhabitants, most residing in the six-world Hejaz Cluster, which is dominated by the local power, Hoganas. A tenuous trade link between the Diadem and the Zhodani Colonnade Province is dependent upon Hoganas' forbearance, although any attempt to stifle or control the route would likely be met with force by the Zhodani and the Diadem Trade League.
Summary[edit]
Four Corners, subsector J of Vanguard Reaches, contains 10 worlds with an estimated combined population of 53 million. These worlds originate an interstellar trade through 7 starports (1 Class A, 2 Class B, 3 Class C, 1 Class D). Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Four Corners maintain one Naval base and one Exploration base. The highest technology level is 11 at Velva (Vanguard Reaches 1623).
Four Corners, subsector J of Vanguard Reaches, contains 15 stars; 5 monostellar systems, 5 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 7 of the 10 systems have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, no Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Four Corners has an estimated population of 53 million distributed across no High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Hoganas (Vanguard Reaches 1125). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
