Ghenani

A Minor Human Race native to the planet Drenalch (Vanguard Reaches 0822).

Physiology

Ghenani are muscular, with short legs to lower their centre of gravity against the strong winds of their home environment. Its lack of ultraviolet radiation has made them pale-skinned and pale-eyed; more than 10% are albino. A uniformly warm climate on Drenalch has left the Ghenani hairless, and their clothing typically consists of little more than a loincloth or skirt, with attached tool belts or bandoliers.

History and Background

Like many Human races, the Ghenani descend from a population transplanted to their world by the Ancients.

Circa -3000, a starship of either Zhodani or Vlazhdumecta origin crashed on Drenalch, (re)introducing the Ghenani to alien life. An attempt by the survivors to set themselves up as gods failed, but remains the basis of later Ghenani legends of the False Gods.
