Calchas is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

Calchas has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
Hellport is located close to Calchas-Prime, the administrative camp. Travellers are allowed to land, but are warned that amenities are limited and that some citizens often feel compelled to sneak aboard visiting craft as stowaways.

Calchas is very close to being a useless, difficult world for any inhabitation. That said, it is a perfect place to force difficult young citizens to work in teams and use clear thinking under pressure. The camps here are run rigorously by experienced, talented instructors to help these citizens gain control over themselves and their future. The average stay for most citizens is 4 months ( 1 rotation ).
