Antra Subsector, originally designated District 234, was admitted into the Imperium in 520.
Description[edit]
Antra, subsector C of Deneb, has 25 worlds, of which 22 have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are no native sophonts.
The subsector is divided into three parts. Spinward and Rimward is the Duchy seat, with Antra (Deneb 1808) and Uramid (Deneb 1910) on the Xboat route. Coreward is the Vargr border, where corsairs and patrols skirmish. Finally there is the Gagaridir Trace, a grouping of worlds between two miniature rifts.

Era: Rebellion[edit]
In the years just before the final solution of the Final War was inadvertently released, the Hard Times that affected Deneb Sector — as well as the rest of the Third Imperium — left their mark here. It was not as bad as some of the Black War in the old Imperial mains, however occasionally dastardly efforts were conducted, in this case by Vargr and more infrequently, by the Imperial Navy.
Filangger (2001) had hosted an Imperial resort before Vargr occupation. Secretly, the Imperium had also maintained weapons research outpost nearly equivalent to a research station, but this was purely military. It was fairly safe on the ocean bottom, well away from any civilized habitats, but had nevertheless been evacuated when the Vargr came. To assure that the Vargr would gain nothing from the abandoned outpost, it was heavily bombarded by a task force that forcibly made its way into the system.
An unpredictable outcome of the bombardment was the shifting of a crustal plate which resulted in a subterranean outgassing. The gases caused a lowering of the planet's surface temperature. The seas rose and the former Waterworld became a Glacier world. This mini-Ice age is forecast to last last another thousand years.
The Vargr on Dzoungdzi (1802) had permitted a large and corrupt Corsair band to stash a munitions dump on their world. The corsairs had not told the people of Dzoungdzi that this dump would also have some chemical weapons as well. Imperial Intelligence had discovered the dump, but had no foreknowledge of the particularly insidious nature of some of the containers. The dump was bombed from orbit and the explosion resulted in a mildly unhealthy chemical taint in the planet's atmosphere.
History: New Era[edit]
The Antra subsector is severely reduced from its antebellum extent; the subsector contains no world in the Regency safe area, and will have many of the subsector's world's in the Wilds.
Antra subsector is defended by the 61st Fleet, which was pulled back from its previous station in the Million Subsector. The 151st Fleet, formerly defending Antra, was sent spinward to cover the new Regency territories in the Sword Worlds Subsector. The 61st is headquarted at Uramid (Deneb 1910), within the Frontier itself. Uramid posses the only Naval Base in the subsector.
The Antra frontier is part of the Regency Quarantine District 3, which runs from the beginning of the frontier in Pretoria Subsector to the border between the Antra and Namidshur Subsector in the three world line of Orenberg (Deneb 2011), Diiski (Deneb 2111), and Mazirbe (Deneb 2210). These worlds are considered to be in both RQD3 and RQD4. This overlap prevents gaps from occurring on the seams between districts where forces on each side assume threats are within the neighbouring district's area of responsibility.[2]
Antra was the site of several major battles against Virus:
- The Tutankhamen war on Filangger/Rroerruerz of 1140-1144
- The Syr Darya Crisis of 1156-1160 and
- the Antra Pocket War of 1160-1165
Politics and Diplomacy : Milieu 1116[edit]
Antra, subsector C of Deneb contains 25 worlds with an estimated population of 2 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,798, and a total economy is BCr4,585. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr35 through 22 starports (3 Class A, 9 Class B, 7 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 9,695 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Antra maintain five Scout bases, three Naval bases, and two Corsair bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Dzoungdzi (Deneb 1802).
Antra, subsector C of Deneb contains 40 stars and 277 identified planets; ten monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 22 of the 25 systems (88%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Antra has an estimated population of 2 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Graek (Deneb 1704). The population consists of 3 sophont groups.

Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb[edit]
The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb has jurisdiction over 16 worlds with an estimated population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,628, and a total economy is BCr3,796. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr33 through 15 starports (1 Class A, 6 Class B, 6 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 9,175 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb maintain five Scout bases, and two Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Dunant (Deneb 1706) and Antra (Deneb 1808).
The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb has an estimated population of 1 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Uakari (Deneb 1710) and Antra (Deneb 1808). The population consists of 2 sophont groups.
- The Third Imperium, Domain of Deneb subsector capital of Antra is Antra (Deneb 1808)
Non-Aligned, Vargr-dominated[edit]
There are five Non-Aligned Vargr-dominated worlds in Antra with an estimated population of 105 million.
Client state, Third Imperium[edit]
The Client states of the Third Imperium in Antra encompasses four worlds with an estimated population of 1 billion.
- Third Imperium (Imperial powers)
- Third Imperium Client States
- Various member systems and worlds.
- Vargr Extents (Vargr powers)
Demographics[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this subsector:
- Humaniti (Human races)
- Terragens (Non-human Terran races)
Languages[edit]
World Listing[edit]
Territorial Overview[edit]
The Antra Subsector is defended by 151st Fleet.
While Antra's Vargr border is less well-defended than that of Pretoria, it is safer than the border along Lamas.
