Imperial duchy in the Spinward Marches invested with the governorship of the Rhylanor Subsector, and overseeing the counties, viscountcies, and lesser landed holdings which together fill both the Rhylanor Subsector and a number of worlds in the Lanth Subsector.

The duchy has been in the hands of at least two families: Prior to the Civil War it was held by the Alkhalikois. Today it is held by the Kirgashiis.
- Founded in 522 by the Division of the Duchy of Mora
- Passed to the Crown in 666

Leonard, as subsector duke of Rhylanor, also administers the section of the Aramis subsector known as the Aramis Trace, including Aramis (Spinward Marches 3110) itself.[1]
