History & Background (Dossier)

The University of Lebeau is famous for its excellent facilities, especially in the departments of Psionic studies and psychology.

The planetary government is controlled by the University Council of Governors, a council of 12 nobles, usually of impeccable academic background. Outside of the university, the population practices simple agriculture and animal husbandry.

After the Collapse the Zhodani returned the name of the world to its original name Fiashzaikriq, and renamed the university to University of Fiashzaikriq. The psionic and cultural studies departments have become very important to relations with the Regency. A great many Regency students and academics come here on exchange or sabbatical.

World Starport (St)

Lebeau has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Lebeau has a population of 900,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).
