A Feudal technocracy is a government based on technical ability with duty and responsibility to those both above and below.

Rank in the society is based on ability and skill. Feudal responsibilities and obligations to those above (work product) and below (raw materials and protection) in rank are expected. Work product could include goods, services, and/or currency. Raw materials could be work space, physical materials or access to such. Protection could include physical, legal, health and sanity protection.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Feudal technocracies are decentralized government systems based on social relationships, typically founded on oaths, loyalty relationships, and networks of mutual support. In later epochs, they're often founded upon technocratic rule.
On pre-industrial worlds (TL:1-3), feudalism is a common and popular form of government.
