Rasatt has a population between 10,000 and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a Human dominated Non-Aligned world in the Cronor Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Rasatt has a solitary primary star.
- It is a white main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Rasatt's highly active tectonic plates have created huge mountain chains. The belters and miners who inhabit the world exploit the ore seams that are continually being uncovered by geological activity.
It orbits within its star's habitable zone.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Rasatt is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.
- It experiences frequent geological activity, including earth tremors and volcanism.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Rasatt has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Rasatt has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Rasatt is a haven for criminals and run by gangs. It's location on the border of the Zhodani Consulate makes it a haven for intelligence agents on both sides of the border.
The Consulate has transferred all "incurably insane" Zhodani from Cronor to Cantrel and Rasatt (Spinward Marches 0607). Currently, the worlds are ruled as "wards of the state" by Consulate appointed governors, but are exploring the possibilities of self-rule. These worlds are all classified as Amber Zones by the Consulate, because of the danger presented by their unstable occupants. Despite that, the Consulate does not wish to fully interdict the worlds, instead hoping that continued interstellar contact with Zhodani culture at large will allow them to eventually recover.[2]
