Dienbach is a high-population, pre-rich world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- It lacks adequate resources to expand its economy to a rich status.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Dienabach Grüpen in the Dienbach Subsector of Neworld Sector.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- This world has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships.
- This world has a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces.
- It is a member of the Dienbach Cluster.
- Some star charts record this world as Wainwright.
- This world controls Broucken.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Dienbach has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Dienbach has a slow rotation period: one local day is equivalent to 4.8 standard days (116 standard hours).
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Dienbach is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Dienbach has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.
- Temperatures climb to high levels during the 58 hours of daylight.
- Temperatures plummet to low levels during the 58 hours of night.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Dienbach has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Dienbach is a member of (and the namesake of) the Dienbach Cluster, a small cluster and minor trade route lying in the rimward-trailing quadrant of Neworld Sector.
It serves as the capital of the Dienabach Grüpen and is the seat of Grüpen authority.
Solomani Security keeps as close an eye as it can on things to ensure the security of the Confederation and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, others are coerced, but a few see it as an act of duty to help protect the Solomani state and its interests.
- Dienabach Grüpen agents closely monitor SolSec activity and counter its moves, if necessary.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Dienbach has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- This world is host to a Dienabach Grüpen Naval Base.
- This world is host to a major Military Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Dienbach has a population of 6,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- The population almost entirely consists of humans of Solomani descent.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Germanic, a Terran language spoken throughout Solomani space.
- Rim Anglic, a dialect of Anglic and the principal language of the Confederation.
- It is a second language within the Grüpen.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Dienbach possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government (G)[edit]
Dienbach is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.
World Law (L)[edit]
Dienbach has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked, and destinations must often be declared when traveling substantial distances across the world.

- Resources: A (abundant)
- Labor: 8 (hundreds of millions)
