Dpres Subsector is anarchic and lightly populated, with no multi-world confederations or interstellar governments. The coreward end of the subsector is dominated by the Trojan Bight, a starless region of space. The Tktk tell legends of a time when warring gods 'put out the eyes of night', and fringe scientists speculate about an Ancient weapon capable of snuffing out a star, and that there might be frozen planets in the Bight that were lost when their star was destroyed.

There are three Imperial client states in Dpres -- Gabriel and Dostoevsky both feature research centres, while Dpres itself is an outpost of the Imperium intended to defend shipping and civilise the subsector. The Gabriel facility specialises in genetic engineering, while Dostoevsky's researchers explore an underwater site believed to be of Ancient origin.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Dpres, subsector F of Trojan Reach, contains 18 worlds with an estimated combined population of 5 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,680, and a total economy of BCr9,215. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr80 through 16 starports (1 Class A, 8 Class B, 3 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 20,090 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Dpres maintain one Naval base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Gabriel (Trojan Reach 1114) and Tyr (Trojan Reach 1518).
