Clan Wahtoi
The Wahtoi are a Tlaukhu vassal clan with a long and illustrious history. The Wahtoi are renowned traders and explorers, with colonies and commerce establishments throughout the Trojan Reach Sector. Their ancient clan capital is Wahtoikoeakh/Wahtoikoeakh (Riftspan Reaches 2936) (the name means "home of the Wahtoi clan leader), the gateway to the Rift Route.
History[edit]
At their height the Wahtoi held a seat on the Tlaukhu and held exclusive control of the lucrative corporation Khu Su'ikh. However, they lost a brief clan war with Aroaye'i in -750, becoming vassals to the victor and ceding partial control of Khu Su'ikh. As of 1105 the Wahtoi are still vassals to the Aroaye'i, who are in turn vassals to the Tlaukhu member Hlyueawi.
Clan Enemies[edit]
Another Tlaukhu member, the Fteweyeakh, were originally a splinter group of the Wahtoi, which attempted a coup in -951 and was exiled to Hlakhoi Sector. The Fteweyeakh and Wahtoi have remained enemies ever since.
When the Wahtoi was weakened after the Wahtoi-Aroaye'i war, the Fteweyeakh returned and this time managed to take over most of the Wahtoi holdings, although a small part of the clan avoided the takeover by becoming vassals of the Aroaye'i.
